Dr. Hay Eytan Cohen Yanarocak is a scholar of modern Turkey. He is a researcher at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategic Studies and at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Research at Tel Aviv University, and a lecturer in the Department of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev. He is the editor of the journal Turkeyscope: Insights on Turkish Affairs, and in 2015 was awarded the prestigious Dan David Prize for Macro History scholarship. His fields of interest include contemporary Turkish politics, Turkish foreign policy, social media in Turkey, Turkish textbooks, and Turkish minorities.
