Dr. Hallel Baitner is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Jewish Philosophy and Talmud at Tel Aviv University. His research interests include the composition of rabbinic literature, the history of Jewish law in antiquity, and early biblical interpretation. He completed his PhD at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was the Kennicott Fellow in Hebrew Studies at the University of Oxford. His current work focuses on the literary development of ancient depictions of the Jerusalem Temple.
