Igor Bitensky is a Cognitive Psychologist, a graduate of Tel Aviv University (MA).
An International Master in chess, was the captain and the head coach of the Israeli National Youth chess team (2012-2018), including winning the European Teams Championship (2016).
The developer of the course on psychology of expertise ("Chess and Cognition"), which he teaches in Tel Aviv University since 2012.
Igor works as Head of Assessment and Evaluation at Clalit Health Services.
He is invited public lecturer on chess in historical, cultural and political contexts and on chess in literature and cinema.
