Dr. Ofer Nordheimer Nur (PhD, UCLA, 2004) has been teaching on the Liberal Arts Program since 2014 in the Digital Culture and Communication, and the Middle Eastern Studies tracks. His book Eros and Tragedy: Jewish Male Fantasies and the Masculine Revolution of Zionism was published in 2014. He currently is working on his forthcoming book, Erotics of Peace: Israel and Palestine in Queer Times. Primarily an interdisciplinary historian, Dr. Nur’s interests range from the cultural origins of cyberspace to the impact of social media platforms on the Israeli Palestinian conflict.
