Dr. Orna Raviv has a PhD in philosophy, an MA cum laude in philosophy, and a BA in cinema and Television from Tel Aviv University. Raviv is the author of Ethics of Cinematic Experience; Screens of Alterity (Routledge, 2019) and a winner of the Dan David Prize scholarship in the field of Cinema and Society. She is also an accomplished fiction and documentary filmmaker.
Her research interests and publications are in digital media, film-philosophy studies, phenomenology, and ethics of screen viewing.
