Dr. Tomer Sassonkin-Efron received his PhD in philosophy from Tel Aviv University. He has taught on the Liberal Arts program since 2019. His classes include Nietzsche and Foucault, Political Philosophy, Queer Theory, and Modern Philosophy. He also teaches a wide array of topics related to digital culture, academic writing, queer theory, and feminist philosophy on TAU’s Multidisciplinary Program in the Humanities and the NCJW Women’s and Gender studies program. His areas of interest include neoliberal governmentality, post-liberal political theory, and sexuality in digital life. He lives in Tel Aviv with his miniature Schnauzer Schnitzel (and also with his husband and child).
